Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is a 2020 Indian Telugu action drama film written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Alu Aravind and S. Radha Krishna under the banners of Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations respectively. The film’s stars are Alu Arjun and Puja Hegde, as well as Tabu, Jayaram, Sushant and Niveta Pethuraj. Samutirakani, Murali Sharma, Navdip, Sunil, Sachin Kedekar, Harsha Vardhan and Rajendra Prasad also star in supporting roles.
In the film, a man named Bantu grows up with hatred and contempt for his father, Valmiki, until he discovers that Valmiki traded him when he was a baby and his biological father was wealthy businessman Ramacandra. Help enters Ramacandra’s house in Vaikuntapuram to protect his biological family when they are threatened by an influential man. The idea of swapping babies was tried earlier in Vedantam Raghavaiah’s Inti Guttu (1958) with N. T. Rama Rao and Savitri.

Review: Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is set in the land of beautifully framed pastel cotton candy, which Trivikram Srinivas is building. The evils here are left to their own devices in the hope that karma will reach them. And if that doesn’t work, black and blue of course, but with style. This film creates a lot of characters and in the end shows a really great scenario. But the film’s greatest strength is that you buy everything, even as Trivikram retells the story of a man who wants to help the family he cares about.

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Movie Plot
Valmiki and Ramachandra started their careers as officers in the company of Anant “ARK” Ramakrishna. Ramacandra marries ARK’s daughter, Yasoda Yasu, becoming rich while Valmiki remains poor. On the day their second child was born, Ramacandra’s son appeared dead. When nurse Sulochana told Valmiki about this, she felt sorry for Ramachandra and Yasu and offered to exchange her baby for a dead person. However, after switching, the dead child apparently started to cry. Sulochana tries to bring him back, but Valmiki sees an opportunity for his son to have a better life by growing up in a rich family. He prevented it from switching by accidentally knocking it off the ledge. Sulochana falls into a coma and Valmiki’s legs stiffen, leaving him permanently paralyzed. The two boys grew up differently. Raj, who grew up in Ramacandra’s house, is shy, innocent, and gentle, while Bantu, who was raised in Valmiki’s house, is intelligent, honest, sincere and hardworking. Valmiki, preferring Raj, treats Bantu with disdain for him as a real parent.
