Bhuj: The Pride of India is an Indian war film from 2021 in Hindi, directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya. During the Indo-Pakistani war in 1971, Vijay Karnik, a squadron commander of the Indian Air Force, succeeded at Bhuj Air Force Base, which, with the help of 300 local women, rebuilt the damaged runway in 72 hours. In the film, Ajay Devgn plays Karnik, along with Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk, Pranitha Subhash and Ihana Dhillon.
The main photo shoot began in June 2019 in Hyderabad, Kutchi, Bhopal, Indore, Lucknow, Goregaon, Kolkata and Dubai. Production ceased in March 2020 due to the exclusion of COVID-19 in India, when 90% of filming was completed; Devgn resumed filming in November 2020 and ended in March 2021, putting the film in the post-production phase.

Bhuj The Pride Of India Movie Plot
At the beginning of the Indo-Pakistani War in 1971, the runway at Bhuj base was destroyed by enemy aircraft, cutting off reinforcements from mainland India. A small group of Indian Army soldiers defeated Bhuj, as 300 local women, led by Squadron Commander Vijay Karnik, rebuilt the air base to fire at the enemy.
