Review: Jodi is a very simple movie in appearance, and while Vishwanat tries very hard to distinguish it from millions of other love stories, in the end that is exactly what the director is trying to do despite having a healthy one. It came together well in the end. The chaotic dose of melodrama the way he constantly presents characters and situations to the viewer doesn’t help him invest in any of them, not even the main characters.

Jodi (2022) Movie Plot
Kapil, the systems manager, has a difficult relationship with his father after a disastrous bet on a cricket match. He falls in love with a French language teacher, Kanchana Mala, who, after her parents’ death, lives with her aunt and uncle.
When businessman Avinash accidentally hits Kanchana’s grandfather with his car, Kapil follows Avinash and takes Kanchana’s grandfather to the hospital. Kapil learns that the victim is Kanchana Mala’s grandfather, and he and Kanchana start dating.
